Ayurvedic Massage

BALANCING OIL-based THERAPY

This classical Ayurvedic technique, also known as Abhyanga, focuses on the lymphatic system. Through calming and intentional hand movements, the energies of the body are channeled in the proper direction.

This massage also targets the digestive, immune and nervous systems, guiding the stagnant energy in the appropriate direction, recalibrating what is out of balance, and drawing the body into a state of ease. Overall, it promotes clarity of mind, healthy digestion, ease of movement and deep relaxation.

The larger practice of Ayurveda includes many daily routines like this one. Known as the sister science to yoga, it takes a look at how we are interacting day to day with the external nature in order to find harmony with our internal nature.

There are small shifts we can make that have a greater impact on our overall health and happiness.
This massage is surely one of them.

Ayurvedic Consult

reconnect to your nature

As an Ayurvedic Health Advisor, I work with clients to clarify health goals by reconnecting to natural rhythms.

With a background in visual and performing arts, I love working with artists and creatives who sometimes need extra support around daily routines and habits. I get it, I’m one of you. I’ve also spent most of my life struggling to maintain clear skin. Now that my personal practice has gotten me over the hump, I feel it essential to share the clarity… literally.

As part of my mentorship training, clients will also receive support from Maha Vidya Yoga & Ayurveda. We'll work with the physical body to access subtle channels for healing. Using five sense therapies, the elements, and simple day to day practices, you'll empower your body and mind to find the balance that’s right for you.

Yoga & Meditation

deep experience of practice

On the mat, I teach from a place of deep listening. Intentional and intuitive, my yoga practice is largely based on my Ayurvedic practice, which means movement and breathing are carefully chosen with the intention of cultivating overall balance in the mind and body. When we look to the qualities in nature, it tells us what we need to do. Utilizing various gems from my years of explorative practice, my intention is always to create a space that is welcoming and transformative for everyone.

My teaching essence combines integration of self, functional movement, anatomy and distillation. Through movement, I challenge the body in order to cultivate strength and ease. Through breath, I soothe and guide you into transformative states of consciousness.

Injuries ALWAYS welcome. We're all healing wounds.

How Am I Different?

When it comes down to it, there are a lot of wounded healers in the world today, perpetuating very powerful teachings without actually continuing the endless work of integrating them into their personal lives and doing the hard and deep work to heal themselves.

It takes daily practice and continuous integration.

I founded Embodied Living in 2021 after a decade of soul searching. While I had developed a dedicated yoga practice and teaching practice, it still wasn't enough. I couldn't fully engage in that industry without diving deeper.

After a slew of survival and placeholder jobs throughout my twenties, moving around New England and trying to find what felt like home, I finally landed smack in the middle of the pandemic, isolated in a cottage on a lake in Shrewsbury, MA. It took many repetitive cycles of inner child trauma healing, chronic injuries, reproductive health issues, and dysfunctional relationships throughout this decade before I was ready to face myself, clear the stuck-ness and own my work, my worth, my truth and my power. Not to mention, I was also desperately sick of the system, the corporate system, the medical system, and the greater culture that disempowers so many people in so many ways. I was awakening to many truths about myself reflected in the world around me. As I healed my own personal issues, it was becoming an increasingly obvious responsibility to share that with others.

And to this day, I continue my daily practice
and continuous integration of self…

Yoga + Meditation

“Years of athletic training and high intensity workouts have always taught me to train beyond my limits. Audrey has taught me to listen to my body. I’ve developed a better understanding and appreciation for my own anatomical mechanics because of her knowledge and passion.”
